Xiaomi is once again up for some exciting stuff, and it shouldn’t surprise anyone, considering that the Chinese brand has created itself a renowned reputation as a leader in the smartphone industry. After the recent launch of the Xiaomi 12T series, the famous company definitely won’t stop there. The standard Xiaomi 12T stands out for its 108MP main camera, the huge 6.67-inch AMOLED display, and more. But again, Xiaomi wants more than that!
The Xiaomi 13T Pro is also in the works, and today we need to talk about some of its specs that leaked online. Luckily, the fan community known as Xiaomiui spotted the information, as the phone in question was spotted on IMEI Database.
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200
According to the leak in question, the upcoming Xiaomi 13T Pro will be sporting the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset. We’re talking about a top-end processor that wasn’t seen before on any other phone developed by Xiaomi. However, there are huge chances that the implementation of the processor will represent a win-win scheme, and not just because of some sort of “beginner’s luck.”
Having a powerful processor on a smartphone can only mean one thing: the rest of the specs cannot possibly fall short. It would be absurd to add 3 or 4GB of RAM on a smartphone running the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 processor, for instance.
According to the IMEI Database in question, the model number for the Xiaomi 13T Pro will be 23078PND5G.
How powerful is the Xiaomi 12T?
By taking a good look at the capabilities of the Xiaomi 12T, the phone that came out last year in October, we can realize that its successor, the 13T Pro, cannot be anywhere below it in terms of specs and features. The 12T model is powered by the Dimensity 8100 Ultra processor and it has enough battery power to assure the user at least an entire day of usage without running out completely: 5,000mAh. The phone also supports 120W of wired charging.
The Xiaomi 12T also stands out for features such as the fingerprint scanner (under the display, optical), accelerometer, proximity, gyro, and color spectrum. The phone’s selfie camera cannot fall short, either, as it reaches 20MP.
In the end, you must keep in mind an important fact if you’re interested in the Xiaomi 13T Pro smartphone: if you live in China and you’ll buy the product, you’ll find it under the moniker of Redmi K60 Ultra. If you live elsewhere in the world, you’ll most likely get the chance to buy the upcoming device under the name Xiaomi 13T Pro. Either way, we’re talking about the same phone that will have some powerful specs.
For the moment, there’s no precise release date revealed when it comes to the Xiaomi 13T Pro. But it’s only a matter of time before the manufacturer reveals it.
