Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition is set to arrive for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The Official Xbox Podcast made many fans happy by revealing some gameplay footage of the game for those platforms. The developers seem very passionate when it comes to improving Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition, so let’s all be confident in their work!
Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition is a lot of fun, as it has to offer three new campaigns and four new Civilizations for ‘The Last Khans.’ At the same time, we can never expect the devs to stop updating their game, as they frequently bring new game modes, additional content, events, and more.
The new gameplay footage shows that players have quick access to useful options at the bottom of the screen. That means that the player can immediately choose from units, buildings, or workers. Feel free to learn more by watching the footage below:
Part of the game’s description appearing on the official Steam page writes:
“Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition celebrates the 20th anniversary of one of the most popular strategy games ever, now with stunning 4K Ultra HD graphics, and a fully remastered soundtrack. Age of Empires II: DE features “The Last Khans” with 3 new campaigns and 4 new Civilizations. Frequent updates include events, additional content, new game modes, and enhanced features with the recent addition of Co-Op mode!”
Gamers have the chance to buy the game from Steam at a discount of 60% off the usual price. That means that they can pay only 7.99 euros for the standard edition. Those willing to get their hands on the 25th Anniversary Collection bundle will have to pay only 103.54 euros. You could also consider buying the Anthology Bundle version of the game from the same platform for 102.07 euros. If you think that those prices are too high, there’s also the option to grab the Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition + Age of Empires II (2013) BUNDLE at a much lower price of 20.98 euros. That’s also a discounted price by 48%, as the usual price was 39,98 euros.
Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition was originally released back in late 2019, and the game is also available for PCs. The minimum system requirements are pretty low, as the game will run if your rig has at least 4GB of RAM and a graphics card such as NVIDIA GeForce GT 420, ATI Radeon HD 6850, Intel HD Graphics 4000 or something better. You’ll also need a processor at least as capable as Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Athlon 64×2 5600+, but surely most PC’s qualify for this demand.
