It took Blizzard six long years to bring a new Overwatch game to the fans. The initial 2016 game managed to make a lot of gamers happy due to its team-based multiplayer FPS environment. But it may not be exaggerated to say that Overwatch 2 is even better, and there are a few strong arguments to support such a claim. The persistent cooperative modes that were introduced in the Overwatch sequel create a more captivating atmosphere for many fans.
Overwatch 2 came out last month, and it already gathers plenty of attention. The devs are already updating it by introducing a new character. His name is Ramattra, the latest tank hero and also a relentless guy who enjoys fighting for his people’s survival. The character is surrounded by a strong shield, he carries some kind of magical axe, and he won’t hesitate to transform into an even stronger opponent when he needs to. He can rapidly gain even more durability to withstand waves of attacks.
Season 2 of Overwatch 2 starts on December 6

If you need even another reason to play Overwatch 2, in case you haven’t done so already, you must know that the game is free to play. Blizzard applied the same recipe with the original and prequel Overwatch game, which is perhaps why the game gained a lot of notoriety fast. As for Overwatch 2, it already managed to become one of the most popular games in 2022, as more than 10 million active players jumped into the bandwagon within the first two weeks after launch.
Overwatch 2 has already received the ‘The Game Award for Best Multiplayer Game’ nomination. You can run it on plenty of platforms, such as PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/Series S, or Windows PC. If you prefer to play the game on a laptop or desktop computer, it’s recommended to have a graphics card such as NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7950. Of course, an even better graphics card can only be beneficial.
