Bandai Namco is preparing a new solid package of immersive Dragon Ball content for those gamers who are into playing Xenoverse 2. The fans will get to fire Kamehamehas, Special Beam Cannons, as well as Final Flashes at a new level thanks to DLC 17, which will soon become available in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.
Xenoverse 2 has been around for about seven years already, and it will be improved with some new elements that will be in accordance with the latest Dragon Ball movie known as ‘Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero,’ which came out in 2022. Therefore, judging by the new trailer that has become available to tell us more about the new update, we will get to see the latest and most powerful transformations of Gohan and Piccolo, two of the most important characters in the whole franchise. This means that players of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will get to use Gohan Beast and Orange Piccolo, which are forms that rival even Goku’s Mastered Ultra Instinct technique.
‘Take a Step Towards the Future’ launches in 2024
Although we know that the ‘Take a Step Towards the Future’ DLC launches next year for Xenoverse 2, we don’t have a precise release date. But it’s not even necessary at this point, as the trailer already gives us plenty of exciting information about what’s coming up:
Luckily enough or not, while power levels play a pretty important role throughout the Dragon Ball franchise, we can’t say the same when it comes to related video games. It’s also the case for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, where you don’t need to get Goku transformed into Super Saiyan Blue to go toe to toe with Fused Zamasu, for instance. Surely, Goku transforming would do better in battle, but the base form of the beloved Saiyan could still get the job done. Perhaps that’s what the writers of Dragon Ball Super had in mind when they implemented the alleged power scaling inconsistencies that have upset a lot of Dragon Ball fans worldwide. Maybe there was no mistake from the writers after all.
The system requirements are quite ‘friendly’ for anyone who wants to play Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 on a PC. The game will even work on Windows 7 if, by some chance, you still prefer using that operating system. However, it’s recommended to have 4GB of RAM, a processor at least as good as Intel Core i5-3470 (3.20GHz) or AMD FX-6300 (3.5Ghz), and a graphics card such as GeForce GT 660, Radeon HD 7770, or something better.
Apart from the PC compatibility, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is also available for the following platforms: Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia.
