Dragon Ball FighterZ Modders Bring a Powerful Game-Changing Feature

Dragon Ball FighterZ (DBFZ) continues to entertain millions of fans around the world, and we’re not just talking about Dragon Ball fans. Anybody who’s in for a good challenge in a fighting game will surely find DBFZ interesting.

Although initially, DBFZ started off with a relatively reduced number of fighters in its roster, the game slowly added more and more characters through DLCs. That’s how fighters such as Master Roshi, Ultra Instinct Goku, or Baby were introduced in Dragon Ball FighterZ.

But guess what? Although DBFZ is a wonderful fighting game by itself, there are also lots of mods out there that could improve or at least add an extra level of flavor to it.

Adding new character slots on the character select screen

According to EventHubs, some modders known as RCBurrito and WistfulHopes have worked on a new feature that allows the player to add new character slots on the character select display and for custom fighters.

Those who will use modded characters will have to replace an actual member of the roster. RCBurrito has introduced Orange Piccolo, for instance, meaning the most powerful transformation of the famous Namekian. Piccolo’s new form was introduced in the 2022 movie ‘Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero,’ alongside a brand new transformation of Gohan. The two characters, who form a great team together, have the chance to show to the world that it is possible to get rid of the biggest threat even while Goku and Vegeta are not around.

One of the most demanded fighters to appear in the roster of Dragon Ball FighterZ remains Moro. For those unaware, Moro is a villain of the Dragon Ball Super Manga who terrorized the Earth after the Tournament of Power arc that ended back in 2018 in the anime. Moro is a planet eater, meaning that he absorbs the energy of entire planets in order to become more powerful. Furthermore, he also acts as a copycat, meaning that he has the ability to copy other opponent’s fighting skills just by grabbing their necks. Moro is comparable in strength to Jiren, the strongest warrior in the Tournament of Power that Goku had to face. It’s impossible to say for sure if Moro could defeat Jiren or vice-versa.

Perhaps one day, Moro will also join the Dragon Ball FighterZ roster.

Please keep in mind that, in the end, the decision of installing and running a mod for a video game or not is all yours. There are lots of folks out there who are hesitant when it comes to dealing with mods, and certainly we can’t blame them.
