The return of modern warfare is getting closer and closer as the guys from Infinity Ward and Activision are preparing for the release of a new Call of Duty game. Known as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, to be more precise, the new game brings some new exciting features for the fans of the series: all-new gun handling, advanced AI, and much more.
Gladly, we already have the chance to admire the incredible graphics of the new COD game. The game is being built on a new engine, but perhaps nobody would have guessed that it would look so good. A mission set in Amsterdam showcases the mind-bending graphics of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, and it’s not exaggerated to say that the game looks as good as the real world. See for yourself:
The video is already gathering a lot of attention on Twitter, where it already has over 4,300 likes in just about two days after its launch.
There’s not even too much action going on in the video, as you can easily see for yourself. The game will most likely look even better during lots of shooting and guns blazing, and we can’t wait to find out for sure!
Advance your team-building skills with the Special Ops
An evolved and tactical Special Ops co-op mode will be available for you and your squad. By using it, you get the chance to improve your team-building skills even more. You will also get to squad up and fight side by side with Task Force 141 during the single-player campaign.
In Modern Warfare II, the choice of gameplay is all yours: you can either play the role of a “lone wolf” or jump into the action along with your boys in multiplayer matches.
Here’s an important quote also coming from the official website of the game:
“Modern Warfare II connects with the new Call of Duty®: WarzoneTM 2.0 experience, and with it, the evolution in Battle Royale with a brand-new play space and sandbox mode. Expect a massive calendar of free content post-launch featuring evolving gameplay with new maps, modes, seasonal events, community celebrations and more.”
The Call of Duty series began way back in 2003 – that’s almost two decades ago! The first game was developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision for Windows-based PCs. Most of the games of the famous COD series have been developed by Infinity Ward and Treyarch. As of 2021, the series has generated over 400 million lifetime unit sales. As you’ve already guessed, we’re talking about one of the best-selling game franchises in the entire world.
You already have the possibility to pre-order Call of Duty Modern Warfare II from its official website. The game will be available for PC and the usual Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
